I was extremely lucky this Christmas to be gifted some amazing K beauty products from family members. One of those products was the Tiny Twinkle Color Eyes Palette in the version Rose Gold Ornament from Etude House. (My family know me so well! This is one of three palettes from their 2018 Holiday Collection. It’s described on their website as eye shadows that express sparkly twinkle with a lovely romantic rose gold tone. Consisting of 9 shades and only 1g per shade, this is what I would call a mini palette. The palette is currently £15.50 on YesStyle, similar in price to other Etude House eye palettes.

The cardboard packing is a sleek black with a cut out in the front, allowing for the red glittery sparkle of the palette and the words Tiny Twinkle to show through. Gold trimmings give the illusion of a Christmas bauble and everything looks well put together and within the holiday theme. Etude House themed packaging always seems to be on point, and this collection is no different.
As is standard in Kbeauty trends, don’t expect high shocking pigmentation from the shadows. (There is still pigmentation) Each shade does complement the others and with a good mix of mattes and shimmers/ glitters, this is perfect for an everyday look or a more natural night time one. Personally I love these more muted tones, especially as someone who isn’t very confident applying eyeshadow. I find them easy to blend, smooth to touch and buildable. What more do you really need from an eyeshadow palette?

I’ve used this quite often since Christmas and have found it really versatile. I love that this hand sized palette comes with a mirror and magnetic shut clasp, allowing me to use it in any room around the house with ease and is also great for travelling. I tend to use 2-3, at max 4, shades with this palette and honestly I do this no matter the palette (even nights out). Having an 8 month old baby doesn’t give me much time for extravagant eye looks, or blending. One of my favourite looks is actually from Etude House’s promotional video, and even though I have hooded eyes (and terrible skills) I think it works.
My Favourite Look
- Secret of The Heart – all over the lid
- Pitapatting – from the inner corner to about 2/3 across the lid
- Poinsettia Instead of Rose – outer corner, darker towards eyeline
- Day of Decorating the Trees – as eyeliner

Although sold as a holiday palette I know this is one I will reach for throughout the year. I’m so happy I received this for Christmas, I love Etude House eyeshadows (this is my 5th palette by them) and am interested in the other two available from the collection and their colour stories.
Did you get anything from the Etude House Holiday Collection? What do you think about Kbeauty eye trends vs the more Western look? Let me know in the comments.
